Neighbourhood Support

Neighbourhood Support is an initiative to enable people to join in making their communities safer, friendlier and more caring places in which to live.

It does this by:

  • Encouraging neighbours to talk to each other
  • Minimising burglaries and car crime in the area
  • Sharing information that will help to reduce the risk and fear of crime
  • Caring about vulnerable neighbours
  • Supporting victims of crime
  • Knowing when and how to contact police, other emergency services or support groups
