Community News

The Council’s Community News information section is published in the Southland Express every six weeks and delivered to every home in Invercargill and Bluff. The latest edition of Community News is also available through the telephone service of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind. ICC quarterly newsletters

The four-page City Council Newsletter is delivered to all ratepayers with the quarterly rates instalment invoices. The newsletters are available online (below), printed copies are available from Council offices and the latest edition is available through the telephone service of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (ring 0800 243 333 for details).

Holdco

Invercargill City Holdings (Holdco) is an investment company 100% owned by the Invercargill City Council on behalf of ratepayers. Holdco owns Electricity Invercargill Ltd and Invercargill CityForests Ltd, plus it owns 97% of Invercargill Airport. Copies of the full annual reports are available from the Council at 101 Esk Street.
