Splash Palace Swim School Terms and Conditions

The Splash Palace staff want everyone to have an enjoyable visit in a safe facility. Accordingly, the following entry terms and conditions apply:

Alcohol and drugs

Alcohol or drugs are not permitted on the premises, including the grounds. People under the influence of such substances will not be permitted on the premises and will be instructed to leave immediately.

Animals

With the exception of Guide Dogs, no pets or animals are permitted on the premises.

Behaviour

Abusive, disruptive or offensive behaviour and/or language is not permitted.

Diving

Diving is not permitted in the learners’ pool or in the shallow end of the main pool.

Dress Code

Only approved, clean swimwear is to be worn in the pools. Swimming shorts must be above the knee. Underwear, boxer shorts, cargo pants and jeans are not acceptable for swimming. Clean T-shirts may be worn over approved swimwear under special conditions, such as aquajogging, teaching swimming, or for health reasons etc.

Entry

Management and staff reserve the right to refuse entry. No pass-outs will be issued. Anyone attempting to gain entry without paying or without authorisation will be prosecuted.

Glass

Patrons are not permitted to bring glass of any description into the building.

Smoking

Splash Palace and Bluff Swimming Pools are non-smoking venues.

Supervision – no ifs, no buts, no maybes – no exceptions

  • Children under the age of 7 years must be within arm’s reach of a supervising adult in the water aged 16 years or older at all times.
  • All children aged 5 – 6 years are required to wear a yellow wrist band at all times.
  • A maximum of two children under the age of 7 years old per supervising adult. This will be enforced at all times.
  • Children aged 7 years must wear a lime green wrist band at all times and must be actively supervised by a responsible person over the age of 16 years.
