EPS Information Officer

We are looking for someone to join our Environmental and Planning Services team to assist in the development and implementation of our information strategy for the directorate.

Your excellent communication skills will be essential in this role with responsibility for the development and delivery of information for the Environmental and Planning Services directorate. This includes providing updates for Council’s website, preparing newsletters, writing articles and delivering other general information to the public.

You will be familiar working with policy and legislation, and your inquisitive nature will ensure that you remain up to speed with any changes. Your knack for explaining technical information in a simple manner will be key, ensuring that information is available, easy to understand and accessible to the public.

Your ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life will be well utilised, facilitating meetings and undertaking surveys to ensure that the information provided continues to meet our customer’s needs.
