Dog registrations have been open since early July and close on Friday, 3 August 2018..
Invercargill City Council Compliance Team Leader Elle Dickson said it was important dog owners paid their registration on time to avoid having to pay a 25% penalty, which would be applied after registrations close.
Dog owners who had their dog registered last year will have received a re-registration letter earlier in July, which includes details of the cost of registration and ways to pay.
Registration fees can be found online at www.icc.govt.nz/fees-finder/
Ways to pay include online at www.icc.govt.nz, or by visiting the ICC Civic Administration Building in Esk Street, Invercargill or the Bluff Service Centre.
