The ICC Building Consents Department will be providing limited services on Monday 27 November and Tuesday 28 November, following the sudden death over the weekend of Building Consents Processing Officer, Tamati Maere.

Tamati was well-known and popular throughout Council and the Building Consents Department will be closed from noon on Tuesday 28 November, for the rest of the day, to allow colleagues to attend his funeral.

The Department will carry out emergency inspections only on Monday 27 November and Tuesday 28 November, and Building Inspectors will wear black armbands as a mark of respect for Tamati.
