For now to their eternal home

There pass some spirits blest

While others to the margin come

Waiting their call to rest

For the cause I bow my knees unto

The father of our Lord Jesus Christ

Of whom the whole family in heaven and

Earth is named

Jesus be thou our constant guide

Then, when the word is given

Bid Jordan narrow stream divide

And bring us safe to heaven
