Ten paintings created by Invercargill young people are on their way to Jiangsu province in China.
This is the second year the Invercargill City Council has been invited to send paintings to China for the competition, in recognition of our Sister City friendship with Suqian.
The competition’s theme for 2019 is “River of Friendship”.
The entrants have explored the theme and produced work which portrays their ideas including Friendship Trees, Friendship Rivers and Friendship Gates.
