While we are increasing cleaning regimes, we remind people that these are high-risk areas and should only be used if absolutely necessary.

As at Saturday, 28 March, all other public toilets are closed


The Council maintains public toilets in Bluff, Invercargill, the Eastern Cemetery, the Southland Crematorium and at many parks and reserves.

Blocked or damaged toilets

If you discover blocked or damaged toilets in Invercargill or Bluff please notify the Council’s Building Assets staff on (03) 211 1777  ) as soon as possible.

For blocked or damaged toilets at the cemetery, crematorium or in parks contact the Council’s Parks and Reserves Office (03) 219 9070 or after hours (03) 211 1679 .
