Road marking work means motorists are advised to avoid Gala Street – between Jed Street and Kelvin Street – this Sunday, 4 March 2018.

One lane of Gala Street will remain open at all times but there may be some delays and motorists are urged to take other routes between 7am and 8pm.

Queens Park Crescent, opposite Deveron Street, and Deveron Street, between Leet and Gala Streets, will be closed to all traffic during most of the 7am-8pm work period (weather permitting). There is to be no parking in these areas during that time.

The road marking is the last step in road works for the new traffic lights, which have been installed to improve motorist and pedestrian safety.
