The timeline for the 2016 Invercargill and Bluff Local Authority Elections has been confirmed by Invercargill Electoral Officer Graham Low.
Nominations open for candidates in the elections – Invercargill Mayoralty, Invercargill City Council, Bluff Community Board and Invercargill Licensing Trust – on 15 July 2016.
Voting documents must be at Council before voting closes at noon on Saturday, 8 October 2016.
