The 2018-2028 Long-term Plan adopted by Council at its extraordinary meeting on 26 June 2018 is now available online as a complete documents – and separated into sections (Community Outcomes, Financial Strategy, Council Activities and projects etc).

Long-term Plans are prepared by Council every three years and set out the services and projects of the Council over the next 10-year period. It also describes how we will pay for Council services and projects and what impact this will have on rates.
The adopted plan will result in an average rates rise in the 2018-2019 financial year of 4.91%.
The plan will be reviewed to ensure that it remains appropriate and any potential changes will be communicated through the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 Annual Plan processes.
