Dog registration countdown

Dog registrations have been open since early July and close on Friday, 3 August 2018..

Invercargill City Council Compliance Team Leader Elle Dickson said it was important dog owners paid their registration on time to avoid having to pay a 25% penalty, which would be applied after registrations close.

Dog owners who had their dog registered last year will have received a re-registration letter earlier in July, which includes details of the cost of registration and ways to pay.

Registration fees can be found online at

Ways to pay include online at, or by visiting the ICC Civic Administration Building in Esk Street, Invercargill or the Bluff Service Centre.
