Timing and preparation of the 2016 Pre-Election Report is a mandatory requirement and its purpose is to provide information about the issues facing Invercargill City Council.

The aim is to promote informed public discussion before the o the upcoming local body election.

The Pre-Election Report focuses on the financial performance over the past three years and for the next three years, based on current plans.

Council’s current financial position is included and the key spending issues over the coming years are highlighted.
