The Dog Control Bylaw and Dog Control Policy were approved by the Council this on Tuesday (28 August 2018).
The Policy document covers dog ownership, dog prohibited areas, leash control areas, impounding and rehoming dogs, euthanasia of dogs, and dog classifications.
Both documents include a map showing parks where dogs can be exercised off-leash (detailed maps highlight restricted or prohibited areas). Visit these links:
