Bluff’s newest attraction, Te Wahi Tākaro o Motupōhue Adventure Park, is set to officially open its gates on Saturday, 23rd November. Nestled in the stunning backdrop of Bluff Hill Motupōhue, this park promises to be a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering over 10km of mountain biking and walking tracks for adventurers of all skill levels. The park also features an accessible walking trail, making sure there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
In total, the park will boast 27 trails—16 existing ones and 11 brand-new additions. The names of these trails reflect a blend of the area’s rich cultural heritage, important local landmarks, and the native plants and insects that thrive in the region.
Opening day festivities will kick off on the 23rd with a blessing and formalities at 10am, with activities and celebrations continuing until 2pm. Locals and visitors alike are encouraged to attend, as the park is designed for all abilities and offers a great opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Bluff Hill Motupōhue.
