On Friday, March 15, a new walkway at Anderson Park was opened as part of Discover Our Parks for Parks Week.
The new walkway is 750 metres long and took about six months to complete.
It was a stunning day, with an amazing performance from the Aurora College Kapa Haka group and a beautiful blessing of the track from Kaumatua Michael Skerrett.
His Worship the Mayor Sir Tim Shadbolt and Councillor Lesley Soper were also present to celebrate the opening.
