Invercargill residents are being asked about how they think Council is doing in the 2022 Invercargill City Council Residents Survey.
A pamphlet explaining how to take part in the online survey was sent to residents this month. The survey asks respondents to rate various aspects of different council facilities, asks about infrastructure, services and about Council’s democratic processes.
Council Manager Strategy and Policy Rhiannon Suter said feedback received from the survey helped shape Council’s approach to services and activities and would also feed into the Long-Term Plan.
The short survey, run by engagement company Bigears, was due to start this week and would run until the end of March, with interviewers also taking to the streets to ensure a full spectrum of the community was able to respond.
“We want your feedback on how we’re doing – your views help us shape our priorities,” she said.
“We’re hoping to hear from as many people as possible so that we can understand how we’re going and where we can improve.”
Each survey response also helps raise money for Hospice Southland, Ms Suter said.
