Motorists and pedestrians in Invercargill are being advised to take care as high winds are causing a few weather-related issues around the city.
There is flooding in Otepuni Gardens, a tree on St George’s Track in Queens Park is down and the track has been closed, and flooding has also closed the Estuary Walkway.
Council is also checking reports of a tree down in Janet Street. Members of the public are asked to be aware of the environment around them and to drive carefully.
The Estuary Walkway boardwalk and bridge is closed due to flooding. The ICC Parks team is monitoring and assessing the conditions and will notify once it is open again.
