POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED.

The Library is reopening and all traffic lights are back to normal.

11.20am:

The Invercargill Public Library is closed and some traffic lights out on Dee Street after a power outage in the inner-city.

The intersections affected are Dee/Esk Streets and Don/Esk Streets.

Please take care when driving in the area, or avoid these intersections until power is restored.

PowerNet advises they are working on the fault, and hope to restore power in the early afternoon.
