Rules and guidelines confirmed for election signs

On 29 June 2020 Invercargill City Council granted a Resource Consent for all political parties contesting the 2020 National Elections to erect and place hoardings and other election signs.

Signs can go up from 18 July 2020 and must be removed on 18 September (the day before the Election).

Trailer signs require permission from Council’s Roading Department.
